What's with the phonejack-jtag file? When I try to unzipit, it says that there are no files to unzip. When I try to expore the zip file it tells me that the file is invalid or corrupted. What's the deal?

I'll assume that you have WinZip...
After clicking on 'Save File', either rename the file or leave as is, but add .zip at the end of the file name.
BTW, the phonejack jtag will require you to modify the IRD. I personally wouldn't recommend it. If one is to modify the IRD, then installing a buffered Jtag is the best way to go.
...just my 2¢

That did the trick! I didn't even notice the ".zip" wasn't there.
The wire looks like it would be a chore to make so I'm going to look into the buffered j-tag. I'm going to look for some info on that in the files so if you know where else I might find some info just post me back.
thanks

Hello.
I have installed and used the phonejack on a 301.010 and it works great.
But now for my dilemma-----I want to use it on a 301.013 but can't find a diagram for the wires on the bottom of the board or what the cut traces would be.
Can anyone help me out?
Oh by the way great site, looks great and has lots of good info.
Skinerd says he really likes the phone port jtag. Personally, I don't see the need for installing anything on a permanant basis. (other than a lock) It's really easy to jtag Charlie equipment. If you can hold your hand still for two minutes, you don't even need to solder.
