Hello All I try doing a read on a rom 3
and got the following error, can someone please
tell me what the issue is???

Is the atr good?

Iam sorry still kinda new to this what is a ATR???

Open Nagraedit.Click on the msgs tab.This will display other card info.Click on card/reset card. It will now display the ATR.If the atr is all zeros, the card is looped. If the atr is normal, we can work with it.

it has figures when I reset ATR?
DATA SPACE INVALID, CHECK POINTER TO DATA SPACE
it what the warning message is?

Should start like this...3F FF 95 00 FF and so on. Also, rom version should be displayed. Don't post the whole atr or other card info. If you want, you can cut and paste it and p.m. it to me, and I can tell you if it's corrupt.
If the atr is good, and the rom revision isn't a stream locked one, like A23/A81 rom 10 or 383 for rom 3, we can go from there.
