44 hr. guide

Hey all,
Does it take time for the guide to come up? I added the 44 hr. guide tier to mili's .bn3 & tier package.I wrote the guide tier last,before the blocker and it doesn't seem to have worked. I still see info not available in most channels.

should come right up but you still have to wait for it to aquire the info if you skip 6 hours or so ahead. takes a few minutes for it to get the data from the bird. actually it already has the data it is the ird moving it around in the memory for you to be able to see it.

Well,it came up when the locals changed,but the next time I hit the guide button I got "error 024 unable to acess this feature.data not available". Is that too many tiers maybe?Using a 3700 ird,ROM 3.

what is your set up do you have it set on dish 500 and only getting ons bird maybe.
yes maybe to many channels also.

Yes,I have DISH 500,BOTH 110 and 119 locked.Using mili's base.bn3 , mili's 9/11 .ep3 + added tier for 44 hr. guide made with yatm.

cool did you delete any of the tiers on mili's bonus patch, he loads them full for us to delete ones we dont want. I think your memry might be full like you think.one more thing you getting even and odd on both birds.

Do you mean even,odd during the switch test?Yes. I just made a new file.I deleted a couple tiers from mili's then added the guide.Gonna try it now.Thanks.

Nope.Didn't work. I woke up this morning,turned on the tube and it said , Congratulations,you have a Dish500 system. Checked the guide and it still only saw an hour ahead and I'm also getting the 024 error message most times when I hit the guide button. All channels come in fine,just no extended guide.Hmm.

Usually it's from either the limited memory of those irds with too many channels opened up, Or if you are adding the top packages the guide is in that already, By selecting it again as a single tier you are doubling that function which is bad.( Tier conflict).

Hey Birdie,
I'm using mili's tiers. With the usual method I don't get the 44 hr. guide or it never comes in.On all channels I only get 1/2 hour to an hour ahead. I tried adding the guide to mili's tiers/bin after deleting a couple of tiers,but no go. It's no big thing,just wanted to see if I could get it to work.thanks

Thats about all the farther the small memory of a 3700 can handle. These were back from the days of 1 sat firmware ( Dish 300 mostly) upgraded to do more, But limited on memory.
If you used the exact same program on say a 301 it would work normally.
