Yvous has the latest 383.bin.
No problem with it and maestra has it with updated PPV.

well what is weird is that i hooked my laptop up which it runs yvous1.3e and it doesnt freeze. The only thing that is different is the updates tiers are on the laptop. Maybe i need to update the tiers on the floppy of the computer tower but that shouldnt make a difference.

If it isn't the tiers and the same bootdisk works fine on the laptop then look to the other emu computer. The COM port may be packing it in and dropping data.

i'll have to mess with it tomorrow. Hopefully a reboot will fix the problem.

I don't understand this---
"Maybe i need to update the tiers on the floppy of the computer tower but that shouldnt make a difference"
Are you running the program while it is still on the floppy?

HI BiggerBear
Yes, sounds like he is doing a DOS boot version.
This is also what I recommend for a single instance as there is no hard drive, monitor, mouse, boots faster and in most cases [depending upon the BIOS] no keyboard required. For the guy that just wants to watch TV it is as simple as it gets.

cancom --- It's been my understanding that Yvous will only work on a Windows computer. Do you know another way to run Yvous ?

I think rubberman is running the same way as I am : Yvous folder on floppy with a short-cut in start menu (sometimes I run it off a CF card). I'm having the same issue on a 013, p233 64m. Similar freezing with 1.3e and 3.0. Same setup on a 2800 without any problem. I'm going to hookup a monitor tonight and see what's Yvous doing when it freezes.
