I have a pansat 2500a. I had it setup and working fine with a dish 500 dish with two single lnb's and a Diseqc 4x1. I set echo 6/8 to on and Diseqc 1 and echo 7 to off and Diseqc 2.
I hooked one up for a friend and can't get it to work right???? He has a dish 500 with a dishpro lnd with two out puts marked 1 and 2. I tried it with the Diseqc switch, and without the switch and I can't get echo 7 to come in????
I can take a single lnb hooked up directly to the lnb in the 110 sat slot and I get good signal on 110 but nothing on 119 and that make sense. Then I put the lnb in the 119 slot and I get good signal for 119 and nothing on 110. I thought this was a good way to see the dish 500 is aimed right. But when I put a dish pro lnb in I only get one sat??????? I have set the the diseqen switch to off on both since I am not using one and the 22khz to off on 119 and on on the 110. I get one but not both. Then I have changed it to the oppisite I can get the 119 but not 110.

Hi! try changing in your menu set up by putting everything on 110 to vertical Tp`s
you will notce with your dish pro you get best signal on V Tp`s.
so change things to V Tp`s and do a blind scan then you should notice that you will get some H Tp`s on now through blind scan.
I don`t have a dish pro I`m just letting you know what I read.
But you should get it to work. good luck
Here`s a dish pro channels list try it out..
You dont need a switch with a Dishpro, they have a built in switch. You need to setup your receiver like this:
Go to “INSTALLATION”
- for Dish 110:
LNB: Standard
Freq: 11250
22 khz: ON
Diseq: #2
- for Dish 119
LNB: Standard
Freq: 11250
22 khz: OFF
Diseq: #1
I am using a Dish pro setup just like this and it is working great. And you need a good dishpro channel list. I recommend the 1 called working3 by wingnut101. That is the 1 I am using and it is great.

xwolfs7 you are right on the H to V's I found this today and it works!! Thanks a bunch for the channel list. I see you are a great help to those in need.
Dishpro lnbfs are erronously being reported as not usable with Fta receivers because of internal switch. this is not true. You can use them with no additional switch needed. The only time you will need to use an additional switch is when adding a second dish to your system. Pro lnbfs have a built in DISEQC switch not a sw21 as the legacy twin has. You can easily identify pro lnbfs by a large black D/P label. see here:http://switchinfo.info/lnbs.html. All that is needed to use this lnbf is to connect 1 cable from lnbf to rcver. Each output on this lnbf carries both 110 and 119 signals. The different outs are for connecting additional rcvrs. Load a modified dishpro channel list or modify your own list by using Gtools. To do this subtract all horiz. transps. from 25600. enter result as your new transp freq and change to vertical. IE. on sat 119 transp 6 is 12297h. doing the subtraction, you get 13303. So change transp 6 to 13303 and change h to v. Now you have 13303v And will be received dy dishpro lnbf's. To get a bit technical, the dishpro's use an oscilator that runs at 25600mhz. this is mixed with the horizontal transp freqs and new freqs are generated. If you should wish to add additional dishes to receive a third and even a fourth sat you must add a external 4x1 Diseqc switch. you must feed both port 1 and 2 with both(or in case of quad,2 )outputs of your dishpro lnbf. you can then add a third dish to port 3 and even a fourth to port 4. (Thanks to AC Radio for this info) I hope this clears up the confusion.
