Hi! the fortec star dish is a pretty good dish,I have the exact same one 80cm universal KU LNBF ,I`m picking up pretty well all the sats in my range with it.

with a universal KU LNBF it sets itself on LNB frequency but standard you need to set LNB frequency to 10750.
I`m picking up AMC 5 /AMC 2/echo 4 and others 121w ,I have pretty well all Dn birds on my KU LNBF dish.

Question about 121. I use to use my 90cm dish for 121, but have it set on G13/H1 for now. Do you know of anyone using an 18" Charlie dish and Universal LNBF to receive 121 strong enough? I've been playing around with an 18" dish trying to hit 121 for the last two days with no luck.

Hi! T5 on your sat list is IA5 97w ,yes you can use a disqc switch with a Ku LNBF dish setup,as you see above I have mine on a disqc switch also using a stab 90 HH motor with my KU universal 80 cm dish,I`m set up like this;
disqc #1/119w
disqc #2/110w
disqc #3/121w/AMC2,5,T597w/G10 123w/IA6/echo4 157w
disqc #4/148w

Hi! I`m using a (Stab 90 HH motor) with my universal Ku 80 cm dish.
I pick up pretty well everything within my range using my motor.
there not bad priced you can pick them up for about 130.00 US or so depends on where you buy it.
Just in case HH stands for (horizon to horizon)

Hi! Even if they stop picking up Dn birds we can still use for FTA such as G10 ,T5
lots out there to watch on FTA .

Hi! The stab 90 HH biggest dish to hold is under 100 cm and the HH 120 holds up to about one meter I think,
Power comes from your IRD through your RG 6 cable not longer than 175 ft, or the motor won`t work.
Those prices are good if you buy from *bay try and look at how good the seller is and feedback,good feedback that is.just be careful.

I bought mine from a dealer because of warranty...good luck

There are already almost 30 Chinese/Taiwanese channels available on Echo 9 @ 121West. CCTV as well as a few others are FTA. There are a number of international channels (Chinese and Taiwanese, as well as Korean and Japanese) channels on the subscription side of DI*H network on the bird as well.

Most of the FTA Chinese channels moved off AMC4 on the 1st of September and scattered to other birds. Some went to G13/Horz1, but the picture quality was not up to par like AMC4. CCTV plans to expand programming to another 10 channels in the near future. MAC TV pull itself off another bird, second within two months, and appears to be a subscription channel now.

If you have a 90cm dish and universal LNBF, I'd opt for Echo 9, if you are looking for Chinese or Taiwanese channels.

Hi! Yes your ultra should be ok with the 83cm dish,I`m using a 80cm dish with my lifetime,if I`m right the sg 2100 can handle a dish up to 1 meter.
I use mine in USLAS mode so I just have to input my lat & long and select sat and it tracks.good luck...

you need 80 cm dish and ku FLNB to pick up chinese channels. Echo 9 has 27 chinese chnnels.

you have to add some chinese chnnels TP, and then scan, you can get 30 chineses.
do you know where 119 located, just on 119 right.
remember set LNB on universal 1

yestoday i lose about 10 chinese channels, all lose channels are new play in dish net
chinese chnnels but still have 20 chnnels. ok i tell you how to do it.you just mark Ech9/G13
