dishnet unlooper
You have to use a windows utlility called Hyperterminal, usually found here : start - programs - accesseries - communications.
The unlooper is a stand alone unit, it just does not have an interface for you to see what's going on. This is where hyperterminal comes in. Below are settings you should use with your unlooper :
Note:when you run hyperterminal first time you will be prompted for the connection name, call it dishunlooper or what ever you want..
then, under connect using, select com port you will be connecting your unlooper to, most likely com1, then select ok
here are your port settings..
Bits per second - 19200
Data bits - 8
Parity - None
Stop Bits - 1
Flow Control - Hardware
then select ok
One more step, click on file, then settings tab and choose VT100 for emulation type.
now click File save as and place this on your desktop for ease of use.
cheers !
