Hi! What flash did you use to update your IRD,that would make difference and also if you have your keys turned on.and if all this is done then your not aimed right on echo7.

When I first hooked mine I was 1/2 on 110w & 119w so make sure your lined up right.

check your first channel and Tp it`s on and check with lyngsat channel line up and see which bird your on.

if your aimed at 110w the first channel is History channel.

But you should get way more than 88 channels.
did you load a channels list first before scanning that`s how I did mine I made my own list with Stb Gtools 1.85 set on STB type 2 .
Once you have your list then select tools then STB connect then select download to your IRD.wait until it is finished before you do anything it will reset itself and come on then your tv should be on.
Once it comes on then go to parental control and put in second password to open keys select default keys.
But if your lucky like me I just had to load channels and scan that`s it my keys were on already.
I used the x8500 233 api (N)
good luck

tomjhong you want to flash you receiver first. Then open gtools and open the channel list of yor choice for 110. 119 or so on. Then right click on the sat. you want to load and go down to tools and click on stb connect then download. Make sure you have the right sbt selected for the receiver you are using. for all the pansat2500 channel guides I use type2 setting!
