Is it possible to create the proper enviornment for Yvous3 to run from a boot floppy? (Floppy formatted using Win98 system files)

Only if you can somehow put the whole 98x windows program on a floppy.

I guess what I'm asking is what is windows providing for the program that can't be done in DOS enviornment?

read my thread below this one. "how to start yvous automatically". You put all the Yvous files on the floppy then shortcut the Yvous.exe to the start up menu of Win98. So when you start w98 then it reads and runs yvous from the floppy.
Thanks rubberman, but I'm already running Yvous automatically upon power-up.
I'm still trying to find out why the program can't run from just a DOS boot disk.
Can anyone help to clear this up?

No you can't. You have to have windows to run Yvous.

Use Cemu or ChinaManRamCemu for a floppy boot.
