refurbed? have you checked it to see if it has the DT or GT chips yet? blue rom or yellow rom with it?
usually if dt chips would just need to do sector erase on SA60 FLASH 2 and point it at bev sat i think.

ok, do i need a digital lock? is it worth it? how often will i get ecm'd, and if i do is it hard to recover or do i just hook up jtag again and erase sa60 everytime?
thx

a digital lock will save you hassle in lost programming and resetting up events they are cheap never installed one and i do not have one on my 501 but then i havent had mine too long in 3 months i have only had one ird go 0000000001 location but that was my fault using dish cam in bev you could save your flashes now it is in BEV incase you need to reflash sometime and just rewrite flash 2 and eeprom or do the sa 60
