embeded chip removal?

has anyboy tried removing the embeded chip on cardless receiver yet ? Is it possible?

Yea anythings possible , and you can remove it if u want , but then you will have a non functioning receiver! Ask Birdie I think He said he's got about 90 of those cardless rec ( How in the world did u wind up with 90 of those thing Birdie ?)

I bought a closeout lot of 100 units all were supposed to be 4900 with rom 10's new in box for 25 bucks each, 90 units were substituted with 311's. Was I unhappy.

I trashed about a dozen of the 311's trying stuff, Other then subbing nothing good out of them yet.

So the Guy or Place you Bought them from wouldn't refund your money when they showed up as 311's . Man I bet you had a few choice words for them!

I am good friends with the local dealer, So they are being swapped out on the new installs for 301's with nagra 2's. Been working out in the end at least.
