Cloning irds

I am looking now but can anyone send me to some info on cloning irds?

It's just a matter of reflashing one rceiver with the receiver number and boxkeys of another..

so basically save the flash from one reciever and then erase the flash from another and program that flash from the first one to the second one and that is it? That will change the boxkeys and everything?

does it have to be the same model reciever or can i clone my 301 to my 3900?

Doesnt' even have to be same model number; just same box keys and receiver id.

Just use flashedit2, Read the tsop image, Open it in flashedit, Edit ird and boxkeys to the one you want, Reflash tsop. Cloned.

this is my first time for this and i can't find any kind of guide for it so do i need a vidmod on 2700 to read and write flash or not and if so does it hook up just like my 301?

2700's do not need vid mods. The jtag hooks up the same as all 700/800/900 recivers, The sti basic hookup.

ok done the above with no problems what sector do i need to rewrite or just rewrite the whole flash cause i got an error on the last sector the one that i needed the vidmod for on the 301?
