Is my 301 010 screwed ?

I had a 301 010 dishnetwork reciever. I wanted bell software on it so i tryied to delete the SA 3 entry but I could not get it to delete. so someone suggested loading a bev 3100 tsop. so i tried and it would not program correctly at all. I tried hundreds of time and it just would not program. so i was sitting there with a dead reciever that would not turn on. anyways way down the road after talking to lots of guys on irc, someone sent me 3 files 2 tsop files and 1 eeprom. so i loaded the eeprom and then I loaded the 2 tsop files. they programed fine. i pluged the reciever in and it turned on!!!!! Now the weird thing is it says that my config version is EAEA and it used to be EAEF and also the IRD number that displays on the screen is different from the IRD number that I get from jkeys. and the box keys are 1122334455667788. so i tried loading my magic card in camless mode rom3 but i get error 019 no matter what I load onto the card for an ird number. Should i do something ealse to the reciever ?

Okayt he sent you a virgin/clean tsop and eeproms. You need to get a program called flash edit in the download section, then open the flash 2 or (23) and edit in your Boxkeys and IRD info. If you want you can dowload proper config versions for you box.

You flashed it with a public dump tsop, You need to take that tsop into a program called "Flashedit" and edit the ird and boxkeys back to normal ones, The public dump ones will not work. While in flashedit select save agian and select "Create virgin eeprom" also, The "F" at the end of your build stands for eeprom failed check.

Ok now i didnt backup the boxkeys first so can I enter any box keys in there that i want or do they have to follow a certian formula ?

Just open your card image in nagraedit that you used on your card and you can see your boxkeys again, Use those.

i only have a magic card and i hadnt programed it yet. so can i make a set of box keys up ?

Probably could, As long as they are not the public dump aabbcc etc should not be blacklisted and work.

ok thanks that for has to be the problem. I will just enter same box keys from one of my other IRD's. And I will just use ird#'s off of the sticker on the back of the reciever. Does it matter if you have a different config version ?

Just use the ird number from the other unit also, then the mc can work in either, They are the same then or cloned. No bootstrap and the rest will not matter, They need to match the model so leave them alone.

when using flashedit do i put a check mark in the Fix CRC box ? if the crc is red ?

I've never not checked that box. You know, red means stop and green means go....What happens if you don't correct the CRC?
