3700 remote inop any help?

I have a 3700 ird using dishnet the other day I went to turn it on and I got nothing from the remote, i put new batteries in it and still nothing , I grabbed my other remote and tried it , Still nothing i can manually turn the power on and change channels off the ird but nothing works off the remote, No guide , no info screen , nothing. Can an ECM do this? Or did my infra red just crap out , Is there a way of testing this? I'm also running mc rom 3 camless. Thanks in advance for any help.

Check Your Remote Address In The Sys Info Screen.
It says remote address 1 the only way I can see the sys info screen is o pull the card out, other wise my remote is useless.
