I hooked up the 2500a - but after doing an ALL SCAn - no channels were found ?
I have a DISH500 with twin LNBS - my old system was a 3900, so I took out the receiver and replaced it with the 2500a. My 3900 was working OK - so I know the DISH is pointing in the right direction.
On the set up page my settings look like this -
110 -
LNB type - STANDARD
LNB - 11250
22khz - OFF
deseqc - #1
skew - 0
TP - #1
Level - 82%
quality - 99%
Can you see any problems with my setup ??
Thanks for your help.

Hi! You may have to change your settings if your dish 500 has internal switch,
you have good quality and sig,so you should get things,I posted a dish 500 channels list .
Are you using a disqc switch,
And after you scanned you have to go into parental control and turn on key function, use the bottom password then it will get you to key function.
once you have your keys on you should be able to watch.

Thanks for your advice - i do have a disqc switch - I will download your channel list and see what happens.
I will also check the keys as you stated.

if that is a dish pro remove the switch thats built in. After hookup on disqc switch, if you are pointed at more than one sat set each one up off disqc switch in switch settings you will have to choose 1, 2, 3, 4. which ever one your cable is connected too. but all your settings are fine.

I just bought Pansat 2500A. it is on the way. I plan to buy 80cm Fortec with universal KU-LNBF. I already have dish500 with Twin-dp-LNB, How can I remove the switch inside LNB? Does Disqc switch work with DP-LNB? How about legacy-LNB?
I am interesting to get Telstar 5 which has most Asia channels. What's dish should I buy? I am in San Francisco, California.
Thanks a lot.
