Just got my pansat 2500 up and going. I am on echo 6,8. Is there anywhere to get a channel list so I know what the channels are? Some are just numbers. Thanks

Nope ... no channel guide, no electronic program guide.

Try this

http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/dish119_sid.html

You will have as to , either enter using remote the chanel names, and / or use a util, chanel list loader to do the entire line up.

I used G-Tools for Ultra.

The Pansat 2500A does in fact have a 7 day EPG (Electronic Program Guiide) . It's right on the Remote Control...the buttom marked "EPG". EPG's only work if the satellite you are looking at provides one. The receiver just decodes and displays it. If you think you are going to get this on DN sats, it won't happen. You can either go to the TV Guide channel (www.tvguide.com/listings) and get it, or you can set up a seperate DN receiver but you need a DN card to get the guide. The card does not have to be subbed.

Is there a web site that gives the exact channels numbers and what station it is?
