I had read that an iso programmer with a 3.6 crystal was needed for dish, I had a netsignia 210 laying around and decided to give it a try. It works like a charm everytime!, it has a 3.57 crystal. Any reasons why it would work?, also I am using Rom 10 rev A16 if it matters. Should I stick with this programmer since it is working or opt for another with the 3.6 crystal?
thanks

It will work just fine for the rom 10 but you'll have some trouble with rom 3's. Haven't tried rom2's on my netsignia yet.

It also had some problems with "popper" programs. I changed the xtal in the dozen or so 210's that I (and my friends and family) use, and have no problems with rom 2, 3, 10, 11 or poppers of any kind. It takes about 5 minutes to change the xtal (if you know how to solder) and the hardest part of the whole process is finding the new xtal. Rat Shak doesn't carry them any more and 3 other electronics stores in town were out.
