DVI PCI Cards back up, heres the info everyone wants. I have verified on 110/119 only.

Teknic, did you save as softcam.key or softcam.key.txt? This keyfile looks exactly like mine, and it's working..

It's working now. I just deleted my old softcam key and put this one in it's place.

Thanks for the file had to rescan the 119 bird and after scanning it doesn't show up on the right side of the screen (Escostar 7)After the scanning it says scan done then I click on Sat but it doesn't show in the sat column at all

Rescan the 110 bird and only got 4 channels after using the new file

You shouldn't have to rescan. I didn't rescan at all. If you are not picking up the satellite, then something is wrong with either the LNB setting or your ini file for 110 isn't correct. What program are you using?

No sweat, no rescans needed people.

Rename old file, replace with this one, restart app of choice for card.

Proof of my past statements that DVB PCI cards are the way to go right now and for the immediate future.

The software support is here, more than anywhere for these things. Its inexpensive to get ahold of one of these, and you don't have to count on some dealer to sell you a larger flash for anything (I smelled crap the first time I saw that message about (OH GOD NOW YOU GOTTA GET A NEW CHIP IN YOUR $500 doorstop now!)

Sad, but true. Get a cheap PC, a card, the software, and you're done.

There's many ongoing and advancing projects in this arena of testing. It far outpaces others by a huge margin right now. Sure, that could stop at any time, but I don't see it happening right now. Maybe when N2 comes out, but I'm betting that you'll see something for DVB's on N2 before you see it for anything else (if you ever actually see it at all that is)

I just checked and 91, 110 and 119 are all working with the softcam I attached to a post above,,,,

Heard a while back that there were some progs for the dvb to get dtv anyone have any luck with this?

The softcam is not the problem if you only got 4 channels during the scan. Even with no softcam, you should get the channels. You won't be able to view them, but they will be in your channel list.
Sounds like an .ini file problem or a cable or lnb problem... Got everthing back on the 119 . I had to delete the Mytheatre program and reinstall everything for it to work don't know why, but that is what I had to do my o/p system is WinXP. Working great now!!
