i need everyone's help.

i recently purchased a brand new iPAQ 6315. it is "locked" to T-Mobile. i unfortunately live in Canada and do not have access to T-Mobile's service. i need this 6315 "unlocked". the only way i know that you can do this is to have T-Mobile unlock it for me. They are legally obligated to do so if i lived in the great u.s. of a. The procedure i've been told which is pretty simple to do is the following:

1. call T-Mobile (1-800-T-Mobile)
2. tell them you will be travelling abroad in Europe
3. tell them you will be using a pre-paid sim card
4. ask them to unlock your iPAQ 6315 for you.
5. they will in turn ask for a IMEI number which is on my iPAQ.
6. once you give them that number (i have it ready here), they will either give you the unlock code or email it to you.
7. once i have the unlock code, i can easily unlock my iPAQ and use it freely up here in Canada with whichever Service Provider i choose.

THERE IS NO COST TO DO THIS ! The only restriction is that i need an existing american T-Mobile customer to do this for me.

Can you please help me out ? i will be forever in-debted to you !!!!

thank you

I read somewhere that at&t can unlock them, so rogers probably can too, check with them if they have service in your area.
