This is for the people with FTA receivers. This is a copy and paste from the forum at al7bar.tk. I thought it might be useful. Props go to Blue Whale,,
How to get a fix for the current ECM - step by step
The current ECM only changes the PK0. It's simple to get a fix for any ird.

What do you need:
1. A BIN file for your ird.
2. A Hex editor. I'm using Hex Workshop. Don't know where to get it? Ask google.
3. The old E1 and N1 key. Download a softcam.key after Aug 17.
4. The new E1 and N1 key. Download softcam.key after Sep 29. You can find both at here.

How to do step by step:
1. Backup your BIN file.
2. Run Hex Workshop and open the BIN file.
3. Go to Edit->Find to search the old E1 key. Just search the first 4 bytes is enough. Here is: 3BD3FD1D. You will find after that point, the following 16 bytes are the old E1 key. And usually the next 16 bytes are old N1 key.
4. Type in the new E1 key CAREFULLY.
5. If the next 16 bytes are N1 key then type in the new N1 key. If the next 16 bytes are NOT N1 key then search the old N1 key again.
6. Now the BIN file has the new keys. Next step is re-calculating the BIN file checksum.
7. Usually the checksum is located at the end of BIN file. Go to the end of file by press END key.
8. You will find a lot of 'FF's there. Locate the first byte that is NOT FF. Usually this is the checksum start byte. For Pansat and Ultra is 9FFD0.
9. Most of the BIN file just uses simple checksum-32 as checksum. So select data from beginning up to the byte just before checksum byte. Press HOME, then hold Shift key and press END. Keep hold shift key and press Left arrow to make the selection.
9. Go to Tools->Generate checksum ...
10. Choose checksum (32 bits) on the left window and press Generate. You will see the checksum at the bottom window.
11. Type in this checksum into the checksum area.
12. It's better update the BIN file version number. Search the old version and increase it.
13. Save your BIN file and test it.

If after you flash your new BIN file, you can not turn on your ird, that means the ird doesn't like the checksum. That does NOT damage your ird. Just re-flash with old BIN or try again. Re-check the checksum that you type in. If they are OK then maybe the BIN file checksum format is not checksum-32 or location is wrong. Most it's because of the location is not good. Try different location.
If the new BIN doesn't fix the ECM then re-check the new key that you just type in. Modify it and re-calculate the checksum. Note: Make sure the new key length is 16 bytes.

These should fix any IRD. If not, post your BIN file and if I have time maybe can help you to fix it.

I have received a receiver Star Track World-in-BoxII from a friend in Asia. When I got this receiver it was working fine but after a week or so it become very limited mean very few channels. In the beginning I was receiving everything. I have updated the latest software on this receiver but there is no difference. I am wondering if I make these changes it may work.

I do not find 4 bytes "3BD3FD1D" in the bin (auc) file. Is there anything elase I could search for E1 and N1 ?

Please let me know if you have any suggestion for me ?
