vladimirb1 is probably correct in what he said about the capatilation . There is also the possibility you have the file that works for 98 and not xp so make sure you have the correct file. If Pansat 2500A does not work then select key-global and see if that works.

And Help From Markoco-(ya got me my Bev)
Lots Of Thanks To www.al7bar.tk
(X-8500 bin replaced with new Blind Search capable bin for IRC filebot)

Ok I have had my 2500A for like a week at the most! But there is not much to them!! They are 100% better to work with then any E* AKA “di$h Or B3LL”
In less then 20 min’s you could be up and running!!

Ok for now I am going to skip the steps on how to aim your dish!! Just words to the wise make sure you have a clear view south. 

Ok with this zip File I have added all the files that should be as follows.

1. 2300_2500_1500 Downloader.exe
Used to send over Bin files to your 2500a

2. x-8500_040615_230_api.bin
Bin file for your 2500a

3. STB_gTools.zip
Ch Editor and loading tool

OK let’s get to work

A. The Cable

You will need a female-to-female adaptor for your COM port cable you will use to load your 2500a like the image below.

The size of this cable can be a max size for 6 Feet
with Pins 2, 3, 5 the same on both sides.

NOW PLUG IN YOUR 2500A AND TURN IT ON

B. Loading A Bin

In your zip you will find a file that looks like this when you have everything Unzipped into a folder. The image below shows you the EXE that will load your Bin on to your 2500a.

When you click on it a screen will load up and look like the image below

1. These are your comport settings! (if you have your cable on com 2 or 3 or so on, set it that way)

2. Your STB Model is Pansat 2500A. Type this in next to the STB Model field. And you will need to open your bin file by clicking on BIN File. So an open window will popup look for your bin file called x-8500_040615_230_api.bin then click Download

When it is done your 2500a will turn off and then back on!

C. I Need TV

Next you are going to add channel names and satellite names for easy uses.
Unzip the file called STB_gTools.zip all in to one folder you will need it all together for it to work.

Now click on the link that looks like this one

Now click File -> Open you will see folder in the same place as the program you just opened. Next click on Tools.

Now click on STB Connect.

Then click Download. When this is done the 2500a will shutoff and fire back up.

D. Setting Up For BEV

1 Go to parental control and enter option
