Reviving A 2100A

My son tried to upgrade my 2100A from the Pansat site and now the unit will not power up. He claims that the download was complete but now is not sure what happened. Is the unit dead? Can it be revived ? Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You have turned on the reset button in back I know. No lights at all huh? Dont sound good. Unplug the unit from all power and let it sit a while and try to power up from the reset button. If nothing, I would go into the case and check around to see if something came loose.
