bev to dish info button

guys when you convert a bev 2700 0r 3100 to dish is it possible to convert the info as well. if i push the "info" button not the "system info button" i get the bell system info. If i push the "system info button" i get the bell system info. is there a way to push the info button and get the program info for dish.

any tips or suggestions would be helpful

by the way to convert i just erased sa5 4 times and restreamed with dish.

I converted a 2700 bev to dish and the information changed along with everything else. Erased sa5 x 3, restreamed on charlies sats. Bingo. Dish all the way. Sounds like your erase didn't take or the restream. Can you watch Dish channels ? Did you do the checkswitch?

yes i can watch dish channels and i did a check switch and i put a dish image on the card and i erased sa5 3 times. After two hours i got a message saying there has been a major problem with my receiver please call this number...... and i only got 2 channels so i erased sa5 3 more times and now same thing i get all channels but info still bev. i think the ird got hit so im going to put a lock on.

You are using a blocker i hope, if you are not then your card could get permanently looped/streamlocked. If you are not putting on a blocker get the card out and I recommend Mili's blocker service. Your IRD probably was hit but I don't understand the info prob. When you restream do you plug in, leave power off and sat cable hooked up ?

Just go to the TSOP bank and download a 2700 bin and flash it to your IRD should take care of the problem.

hey guys i didnt do the flash yet because i went to system info from the menu and it was dish info and the card info that i programmed. but the system info button is still bell and it says its a 3100 but its actually a 2700 and the info button is the same as the system info for some strange reason. I am watching dish programs and the guide is dish. has this happened to anyone else?
