Hey all! I just have a small problem. I'm attempting to get the 110 sat on the same dish as the 119. I hooked up the second lnb and held it by hand against the other lnb and moved it around to try and get the signal without results. My question is: Will it work this way to try and get the 110, and as for the receiver (Echostar 3900) do I have to disconnect the feed for the 119 sat to find the 110? I have seen the bracket you can buy to put 2 lnbs together, but I don't want to get it if it's not going to be effective. Anybody have any answers? Thank you in advance! Dish is currently pointed at the 119 with signal strength 112
P.S. If there is already information on here regarding this matter could you please direct me there? I've looked but haven't really found anything. Thank you again!

connect the ird to the 110 lnb and set the dish point for the 110 depending where you live it should be striaght forward to find once you have found it connect your switch and other lnb do a heck switch test and go watch tv

if you are using a dish 300 it will be hard to do. the dish 300 is the dish with 2 adjustments angle and azimuth.
the dish 500 has 3 ajustment the skew being added to rotate the dish and mke it easier to pick upo 110 and 119 both
not saying it can't be done just not easy, and probably would have low signal on at tleast one or the other.also would need a sw21 to combine the lnbs into one receiver

Try using some zap straps (cable ties) or a gear clamp that is big enough. Then the lnb will be stable enough you can start tweaking it. There is no way holding it by hand you could keep it steady long enough to see if it would pick up signal. And DSSTURBO is right it is much easier with a dish 500 you need that skew adjustment (pan rotation) it is so much easier. I gave that up and just went with the two dishes and sw21 switch, way less screwing around.
