need help!!!!

am new at dish, really need help i got a echostar dv3 old, with two rom 3 open cards and they where working just fine, until a couple weeks ago when i got a black out, the guy that got me these is gone , dono where, anyways my problem is that i dont know what to do, ill tell you what i have, i have a dish card reader/writer i have ird #, card #, everything to get going i just dont know what to write or what steps to get going again , i have nagra edit 4.1 and exel. please please someone help me out i have read and read but am too stupid to understand what to write and how, please i spend a big amount of money for what i got and i cant get it to work, someone please help me out.

I think that you you're probably just missing the new PK change. Use Nagraedit 4.1 and try to read your cards. Hopefully they are not Streamlocked at 383, or you actually have the BD pass for them. If you can read the cards, look for the new parity key changes in the files section and add them to the cards.

if he programmed the cards for you you will need the unlock code he used on your blocker to get back in

thank you for the responce , the cards are not locked , they are on rev372, i got the instructions on the how to, files on how to program a rom3 card and i followed those but nothing yet ,i dont have a blocker,

it is uploading and is coming to your email any questions just ask...play with it tonite and will answer emails tomorrow it is my bed time....open it and click on configure ird..enter all info there and also put what password you want to use then click save every thing should come up with an X in the box as far as packages go enter all the extras you want on the right side of the screen when you are all done click on the big dishnet icon..it will automattically open nagraedit 4.1...read card then select patch...open patch and the file should be there rom 3-tiers.ne3 click on that click test then run then go to the top and select write to card put in receiver and watch tv...oh and 1 more thing be sure and select the type of card you are using rom 2,3,10,11 and so on

well i tried , as follows, open TCFDII put in info of ird# box keys and i didnt know what to put in cam id, so i opened scammer and generated a cam id, and i put that in there, eastern time proper zip and saved it, opened the ppv thing created my choice of channels saved it and when it opens nagra clean open patch , run patch , and then write card, put in reciever and get error message this card is not for this reciever,? is the blackout string should be 7f all the way to the end? what am i doing wrong, well hope to hear from you tomorrow thanks so much please help.....

When a program doesnt take letters it requires the actual number of the IRD....the program will turn it into hex.......example Ird - 12751234 , program turns the number into 00-C2-91-82......If you only have the Hex number, use your calaulator in the Acc folder in Programs & clik on the Hex button before you insert the numbers, then click DEC button...it will change into the actual number your looking for

question guys i have a bud that is giving me a system a DP301 reciever with a rom 10 card that is rev A1B, is it worth taking it? please help!

shit yes, A1B is open if that is the card that came with the receiver then the vid mod will not be required. The 301 has the jtag port but the case may need to be cut to gain access to it. You can jtag from the top if you do not want to cut the hole out. I would jump on that. One other thing, the DP301 can be used with legacy lnb's all DP receivers will work with legacy lnb's but legacy IRD's will not work with DP lnb's

ty for responce i just usede the TCFDII program and i got it to work everything is open i am concern about eprom lock, please help if you know, i got the blocker that TCFDII has, thank you ....

yes it can be unlocked with noproblem at all what is the number on the back of the ird (301.013 or 301.010)

i just tryied a software that i downloaded called dealer rom10rev23a unlocker and i tried it and know the card says rev a16 is that good? please help and how can i get the reciever unlocked? thank you so much!!!!

did you put a blocker on it? Anthony, he must have put a blocker on it spoof it to a23 I don't think that unlock program is for streamlocked cards. I have never tried becuase of that assumption.

i am a new guy in the dish i have a atmega 128 card and a receiver dp 301 i need to know what i need to get the free channels and how i can programer my card
You need a atmega programmer, chances are you already have that. Then you need a working pfg file for the atmega, and you use a program called jeepers to write the program to the card. Just enter your box keys and IRD number. You will need a jtag to retreive the box keys.

what do you need? do you have the programmer? The jtag can be bought from this site. Mili is the safest place to buy from because he is off shore. You can build one with a few things from radio shack if you know how to do some simple soldering.

programmers vary from atmega to atmega, you will first need to be able to decipher what kind of atmega you have. Was the atmega ever programmed to the receiver?

that is a rom 10x card, they are unprogrammable. Then I am going to assume you have a dp301.013, if you do, then a vidmod may be required before you can use a atmega, I hope you know how to solder.

you need a jtag to fix that receiver, It really isn't locked, the tsop has been written too rendering the ird useles.. You need a jtag, wheather you build one or buy one. you need one to fix that.
