Nagra 2 will end all emulation RIGHT????

The makers of SV1 are claiming today that they are Nagra 2 ready.Im new to this the last 4/5 months but I was not born yesterday.

I paid 120 bucks for the sv1.Comes with cable and instructions.They provide all you need.They send you 100 scripts,they provide everything.It has worked perfect for about 5 months.I have not had to do a thing.Its been great!Prior to the SV1 these same guys had a mod that went inside any rca DTV receiver and brought everything in for almost 3 years without a hit.

My question!Does anybody believe that its possible that a group of smart guys might have figured out a way around NAGRA 2.

As I said im a newbie.You get a dummy card with directions, cable,wires to solder inside your receiver etc.its at www.dishstar.tv just wondering if their claim that they are NAGRA2 ready is possible.

Nobody is nagr2 ready.Card has not been comprimised.

Nagra2 Ready is, of course, a most-likely true, but carefully worded, advertising ploy. The gang at DishStar figures they know what hardware will be needed to process the Nagra2 software, once it becomes available...such as a 3.57/3.68 Xtal, a particular Atmel, etc...and incorporates it into the current SV1 board, rendering it "Nagra2 ready". Not the same as "Capable of decrypting Nagra2 encryption". ;)

Lots of places selling crap, that will never work. I keep getting emails that say I can buy a device that goes inline with my DTV IRD that will give me all stations wide open. Only 190.00 US, and lots of letters from people that say it is the very best. There are more scams out there than ever before. When Chuck starts changing over, there will be even more scams. When you buy them, and they don't work who are you going to complain to, by that time, their email won't work and the web site will be gone with your money? Just my opinion.

Beware the scammers claiming Nagra2 ready and P4 ready.
At the moment this is a glorified $190 max/mel and AR105C lock....what happens when these boys disappear????????

You do NOT want to deal with them.....in the end you'll get bent!

You can also think about it this way. The P4/P5 cards have been out about 12 months. There is no hack now that I know of. The Nagra2 cards will have about the same protection as DTV's cards. Why would anyone think they will be compromised anytime soon? Keep your hands out of your back pocket.

Not trying to collect flames, but there is always more known than is public. I'm not saying these guys are legit with this product, but I wouldn't be totally suprised if nag2 were ready when nag1 is pulled. Check some of the nag2 discussions here and other places. As providers go global with security systems they invite people from other cultures to have a crack at their systems.And sometimes these people have a totally different angle, and sometimes their thinking is what it takes to advance a crack into a hack.

Not trying to be smart, but I just don't know. Is the Nagra2 system/smart card the same for Dish as the system used in Europe? I would thing that Dish learned like Dtv did, and protect the card like Fort Knox, only time will tell.

I'd like to hear some real information about how they're programming virgin rom 10X cards in Germany. If it's true, their technique would be invaluable but the back door keys would be totally different for our cards. Still possible to use their cards if you could get ahold of them, oh yeah...and if they actually are compromised.

i have a dealer that sells iso's atmegas ect ect he got back from germany 2 months ago and he saw first hand virgin rom cards bieng programed theres also a couple mods here that say the same thing how and what i dont know also in spain they have a testing method involving titanium cards do a google search on seca 2

I visited a couple European sites today and they had posts and files relating to Seca 2 hacks which would be what digital + spain is using. It appears that once the porn channels went to nagra2 they figured out real quick how to get them back. If anyone else wants to check around and verify this, please do because I can only read so much broken english.

I checked out these files in notepad. It looks like one is simply the decrypt keys for European providers. If this is correct, the premier keys for 00 and 01 were all zeros, meaning they don't have much in the way of nagra2 info. I'm not sure what to make of the file that deals with the EMM.

Have a friend who is getting the sv1 format to test (dealer cost 65) and will test using bev, he claims that they can get hdtv and nfl package that are all on nagra 2, so unsure if it works, time will tell ?

I have a DTV emu system that is P4 ready....problem is there is no P4 hack.
Don't get hosed by scammers twisting the wording to suck you in....there is no NAGRA2 fix yet.

Probably just under a year for dish, 6 months for bev because they are under a mandate for a certain completion date by the government.
