emulation with yvous [Archive]

i'm trying to find newbe instructions for starting out emulation.
can someone point me in the right direction please?
i have a 2700, jtag and a 232 board. and i am ready to learn.

First thing to is Jtag that IRD, and save both the EEprom and Tsop data in a nice safe place. You will need an old p133 or better computer and any version of 98x or higher to run YvousEmu, 3 is the latest version. Is the board internal or external? If you ask questions on what you need to know, we can probably help out.

Please continue,,, I have a pile of AVR3's and would like to start with one of them and then go to the internal Max/Mel board when I get the program figged out first

I have four receivers working with only a Atmel 2313 and Atmel 8515. All works great !!!! :)

Simple way for emulation with only one single atmel 2313 chip! Works great ! :rolleyes:

There is a Flash Maker that you can use to make a Single Chip Flash or at dsshelper there is a thread about the One Chip Emu(It's A Sticky). In that thread you will see a couple cut/paste flashes.

I would appreciate if somebody configure for me YvousEMu.ini with local For Miami area and all PPV. I will complete the rest of the configuration

The latest Yvous3.1(b) is on maestra. It may have the PPV's, but you should be able to make your own PPV strings by now. There are plenty of threads and programs to make the PPV's .
AS FOR MIAMI LOCALS ---
The top string is the way it comes and the bottom is with the ; removed. That's how you activate. Just remove the ;
