DISH500 install trouble

I need your help please.....
I have a model 3900 reciever and a 20 inch dish 5000. I am having trouble hooking it up to my reciever.
When I check the switch is says dish500 dual, but it only show that one satalite is connected. I can get sat 110 or 119 seperate, but not together.

My setup on my reciever does not have a box to check for dish 500, only superdish.

What can I do to set up my system?

Do I need to re-flash the reciever to get it to work?

Any help would be apperciated. Thank You

i believe there is a box you can check for alternate dish (or sumthin like that ) it worked for me . Remember to use transponder 11 for setup. Good luck

Does It Say Dish 500 Twin? Sounds Like It's An Aiming Issue? Does The 119 Show Up In The First Two Boxes After Check Switch?

Make sure you have the cable on the 119 side make sure the angle is correct with what the recv said. Set dish signal for 119 signal. Use # 20 and set signal. After that do a switch check, but use super dish setting on dish. When done it will look for sat signal two to five mins . You should now have Dish 500 on you system looking at 110 and 119. To check this hit the system info on remote and do that test. Hope this helps....

also try running check switch with the sat cable unplugged or resetting the ird.
