Rec. 1000 i donot know the password, how to unlock

you can try this, on the remote control press menu, 6, 3, info, right, left, tv/video. Do this all very quickly, a message will come up saying something about non volatile memory has been corrupted, if you see this message you did everything right, unplug receiver for about 20 seconds and plug it back in. If you do not have a tv/video button, press the info button in place of it. After you plug receiver back in you will have to run check switch and you will loose any favorites lists you may have had but it should clear the password.

its not work for when i do menu 63 i get password box, press inf. left and right stay on password box

maybe the menu is different on a 1000, hit menu, then find system setup, then find diagnostics, then press info, right, left, tv/video.
