I'd like to join 2 dual lecagy LNB's.. one pointing to 119 and the other to 110 and send that signal to 3 different IRDs.

Which type of switch do I have to use? ... is there a place where I can buy it cheap??

Thanx for the help.

Ive been reading a bit about this and I'd appreciate if someone can clarify this for me.

would a sw34 work with these kind of IRD models .. 501, 3900, 3700

Ive found mostly dishpro swithces, but it wont work with my legacy LNBs would it?

it would work. But why spend that kind of money. Just get the sw 44 cheaper and does the job. Unless you plan to expand the system and add more receivers and switches.

Go 44, 34 is DP series and will not work without a adapter on the older ird's. If you find a sw64 that is fine also, It just has 3 sat inputs so you could add another dish later.

Receiver slot 1 powers it, If you have a 301 or newer on slot one the power inserter is not needed, Otherwise for older IRD's make sure you get the ac adapter and cable inline power inserter with the sw44. Older ird's don't have enough current output to power and operate them alone properly.
