I just bought a 3700 reciever and a a2012 card. I connected it to my old DAVE dish for the time being and pointed it at 110. I now recieve some channels. I am getting ready to order a jtag. Is there anything else that I need right away to get going ? Thanks for your help.

You will need a ISO programmer to program your card, if you are only going to run one sattelite, I would recommend the 119, it has alot more channels on it, including all major sporting ppv , i.e. ultimate fighting, boxing, wrestling ppv, the 110 does have more ppv movies however the 119 contains most of the regular channels.

Thanks for the info. I'll order the programmer also. The only reason that I'm using the dave dish for now is that I wasn't sure that I had enough knowledge to even get as far as I have so far. I pointed the dish at 110 because every time I tried 119 the screen said wrong dish. After I recieve the jtag and programmer and get them to work, I'll get a dish network dish

I have a MIKABU III programmer that I used for my hu card. Can this be converted with a new crystal for the dish net card ?

I don't know if it will work just by changing the crystal, I think people have problems when they try to do that, you can try and see what happens, but the mikobu 3 can be modded to open current streamlocked revisions and that is huge, so hang on to that puppy.

Thanks. I won't take the chance, I'll buy a new programmer. I don't want to cause myself any more headaches than I'm sure that I am going to have trying to figure the jtag and the new programmer anyway
