I have a 3900 that gets hit about every 2 hours. Is it possible to change the ird # to match my 2700 that never gets hit? Also can I even erase my dish 3900 and program it as a dish 2700 . I know that some of you have switched from dish to bev, but can I do this from dish to dish? Thanks in advance.

If It's Error #153, It's Testing Device Related, Not Receiver Related.
If It's Error #151 Or #155, It's Digitial Lock Related.

You Don't Mention What Your Testing Device Is? Plastic/ATMega/Cemu?

ok I'm running plastic on my 3900. I haven't done any changes to the ird yet, but every couple of hours it gets the 000001. I erase the sa30 every time, but what I'm asking is can a dish 3900 be converted to a dish 2700? I have a 2700 that has only been hit once since last spring. I was wanting to use that programming on my 3900, can this be done?

Yes, You Can Change It, But I Doubt It Will Fix Your Problem. If You Are Getting ECM'd, It's The Programming On Your Card That Is The ECM Target.

You also didnt mention if you had a lock installed . If not , that'd be my first move .
