My 2700 won't update on 148 bird

Hi pals,
Recently I am trying to switch from bev to dish, using atmega 128. I've erased SA5 for several times even SA0, but my unit won't update to dish's firmware. It's only have channel 580 with picture, but useless. All other channel guide are not fully display. I went to dish pointing/installation, it still have bev's information, and under the signal it has wrong satellite 148 error.

Any pros has been met is issue, please show me how to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

PS: The only thing I didn't tried to let it on the stream without atmega card.

Perhaps Dish updates aren't on the 148 bird look in the TSOP for a bin and put that on your TSOP.

JShin - Would that be OK if I use my IRD to update it on 119 bird (from friend) to get dish network firmware, then plug it back in with my wanted channels on 148 birds?
Or should I download different dish TSOP and fash it in my ird?

Sure just erase SA5 and hok it up to your friends sat feed and plug it in should update.

Oct. 28 - Just an update how I've solved this problem.
I have erased the hold flash & re-write it with different TSOP and it updated on 148 bird. Thanks to all for your input.
