BEV & Dish in same Room

I am thinking of Running Bev and Dish in the Same Room through my Home theatre Receiver. I want to find 2 receivers that will not interfere with each others IR remote. And I do not want to use a UHF remote because I want to use a Multi remote to run my devices.

PS I see plans for one Receiver to run both how does that work?

Just change the remote address for one receiver or just turn one unit off and power one up that way when you hit power one will turn on and one will not and vice versa.

I run a bev and dish receiver in the same room on the same tv, I have the bev hooked up to the pip atennae B, Like jshin said you just move the remote address to a different location than the other on and it will not interfere with the other.

How do you change the address of one remote identical to the other. I have two 2700 IRD one on Bev and the other on Dish in the same room. I use the same remote. I just simply have to two IRD separated sitting within 6 feet of each other. All I do is point to each IRD with my hand covering the other IRD from getting the signal. It's a pain sometimes....

you will have to get another remote, depending on which style remote you have, changing the remote address may very in the steps to do it. Do a search on this forum for "remote address" and you should find instructions, That is how I found them and now I can't quite remember how I did it.
