Been having problems with my 301.013 DAHA, did a jtag and saved a copy of the tsop file. Pulled up the file on flashedit and noticed that the CRC box was red. The box is green on the back-up I saved prior to the start of the problems. Does the red box mean that the tsop is corrupt? What does CRC mean, anyway?
Thanks,
B

CRC, Cyclic Redundancy Check (research that if you want to know what it does), if your tsop file fails that, it could be bad but not nescessarily. I see a lot of red crc checks when opening a file in flash edit, just click to correct it and reflash if you are concerned.

I have found that if someone changes the box keys and ird number in flashedit and then uploads the image into the tsop bank, this causes the crc to be in red, If I manually enter a ird number in hex in the hex slot, and then manuall enter the corresponding number for the IRD in dec in the dec box, the crc usually goes away after saving, so a simple discrepancy like that is enough to corrupt the crc, (skinerd, I may have to do a search on that, to learn more, thanks for letting me know what the acronym stood for) just click the fix button and let it do it for you in case there is more than that to it.
