Ok, this 510 IRD was repaired by Skinerd (he did an awesome job) however i am having trouble with it. When he had it, he had to convert it to Dish from BEV. When
i got it back, it was a Dishnet IRD, so i erased SA54, SA60 and let it stream. However, the IRD did not display the typical signs of streaming no matter what I did. So, with my Box keys and IRD # backed up by Skinerd I proceeded to download a P069 DC3A (i have a DC8D) TSOP dump for BEV and edit it. After I had edited the TSOP, I know i did this right cause the IRD numbers, etc are correct, i flashed U7 after erasing U6 and U7 twice each. Then I made a virgin EEPROM and wrote that as well using my build config. I then erased SA54 and SA60 thrice each and let it stream. It streams perfectly, so after it streams I take a later firmware version and flash it up to that. It streams again etc. and how I turn it on as a Bell 5900 IRD with my IRD number, and using JKeys i get my box keys etc.

Now here is the problem: When it is aquiring sattelite signal it always tries to aquire from 82, not 91. It eventually defaults to 91 and I get a few (like 20 or less ) channels. When i go to test signal I get 100 on 91, and 82 says wrong satellite or 0 on all transponders. I know its not my dish cause my 3100 IRD has perfect reception on both birds and seems to work properly (it is a subbed IRD). So, my question to you guys, is what the hell you think could be causing this stupid problem., or if you just have any ideas..

I am going on about 15 - 20 flashes here and have tried many things.. just need a suggestion here.

Thanks,

Massa

Prolly need to get a DC8A or higher flash for bev, I have had trouble trying to use lower flashes to the newer PVR's, DC3A used to work for me, until I got a DFJA, then DC3A would never let me get all sats. So I suppose that might be a problem...look for a DC8A or higher BEV flash, edit your numbers in and flash it with that, see what happens.
