I would like to flash my TSOP with a different software version like p232 to a p231. Can I use any Tsop bin for a 3900 from the files section or is there somthing special I need to look for?

I believe you have to look for a build that matches the first 2 or 3 characters of the bulid config.

Look on the sticker on the PCB.

It is in the sytem info screen where it displays your software version, right after your software version of 232 it will be followed by 4 letters, that is your build configuration, You need to find a build config in the downloads section that has the first three letters of your build config, the fourth doesn't matter.,

If you go back too far with rev status, you will be missing quite a few channels.

Does anyone know about a " sombrero JTAG ", used for Jtagging 7100/7200 IRD's?? Also where to purchase one? thanks
