Hi,

Just got 2 510's from Dish and now trying to convert them to Bev. I Got the Jtag on there. Can read TSOPS and BOX Keys no problem. Looks like the dish recivers have been in the stream with dish software on them. Here is my issue. I loaded up jkeys and went to Flash 2 and erased SA 61. Put it back in the Bell stream and it updated fine. Now I have the bell menus, but still no channels. I can get to system info and the menu settings fine, but cannot change channels or anything. Just black screen. When I put the 510 back in the stream after I erased SA61 on Flash2 i just used a virgin rom10 card, should I have used my atmega and programed it for this reciver? I don't have to register the IRD with bell if using an Atmega correct. The weird thing as well is that it came with a samsung harddrive in it as well. Thought they only came with seagate and maxtor. Any help would be appreciated.

not having done it i would assume you have to have the card prohrammed for bell to pick up the channels also do a check switch test as for the samsung i have seen somewhere that the 5900 does use them

Some new 510's do come with a Samsung 120 gig HD.
Sounds like a card problem as mentioned above. Verify you have your card correctly programmed......verify the boxkeys, and make sure the card has a valid bev setup on it.

So I have Build conifg DFJD on my mainboard, Can I DL a U6, U7, and virgin eprom from a Differnet Build config and just use that. What would I have to do in Flashedit to get it too work. Also if I was 2 clone this 510 to match another reciver will I have to remarry the Harddrive?

did you try streaming with a bell image on the card?
all you will need is a u7 flash but then you will need to vid mod that puppy to get it to take the flash and yes you will have to remarry the hard drive if you clone
