An alternative to the heavy mast, mount & outrigger setups for the larger Ku antennas, I came up with this setup for my 40" Primestars. Constructed from 1" Schedule 40 PVC, the antennas are attached using metal pipe hangers, which allow for easy elevation and skew adjustments. The transverse mounting method dramatically reduces wind loading but allows for optimum signal reception.
