What is the best way to emu dish

getting a max/mel board for my 3100 ird

whats the best s/w to use for emu? cemu? java?

also, what s/w do you use to flash the "virgin" atmel?

YvousEmu running in 98x or higher, if it's a factory built board, you don't have to flash it. Jtag the IRD first thing, saving the Tsop and EEprom data.

I will jtag my system. Not sure if the max/mel is original. If the atmel is blank, how do i flash it for emu?

Is the board internal or external, has it been used before? I first thought you were buying it from some supplier, but that must not be the case. If it needs to be flashed, you will need a simple cable, and the program. I think the program is jeepers. I have never had to flash mine, so I am not sure of exactly what you may need to do, but there are manyl posting on the flashing subject. Good luck
