Can anyone tell me if the QCEMU software is installed on the emu computer or is it placed on another computer? Not sure what to do.
Thanx

install QCemu on a Windows based computer (Win98/98se/ME/XP) .. run it from the icon on your desktop ... it will create the DOS based bootable floppy for Cemu emulation on Bev .. ( it's just a gui editor etc.)

What software do put on my emulation computer that will be hooked up to my receiver?
DD
QCemu creates a bootable floppy ... no other software is needed ... boot the computer from the floppy and it will load the o/s (DOS) and the Cemu emulation program (in a RAM drive) ...
make sure your AVR/max-mell board is programed right ... double check your emulation cable ... and if your com port is working ... you should be good to go ...

If you are still having trouble, PM me and I'll send you a bootable disk build program that will only require you to change the boxkeys and IRD# to get going.

By the way guys I'm using a bell 3100. The program QCEMU is the program I'm using to make a boot disk. There is just one thing how do I know which rom card do I have. After creating my boot disk when I click on the save button a message comes up that say $ is not an interager what does this mean? The instruction say the box key is in the hex file so do I leave the box empty when creating the boot disk.
