Hello
I am trying to install a legacy Dish500 with twin LNB (Build in Switch). After calibrating the dish I am able to lock 110 (86%) however I don’t get a signal for 119. After locking the 110 I moved the Dish around however I never got a signal for 119. When running a Check switch it displayed only a ODD polarity, EVEN had a X. Not sure what that means.
Thanks for your help

Here is a good site to help with wiring hookups: http://www.18inch.com
You need to adjust your dish to get the 119 signal.

You need to locate 119 first then 110 If you have a single lnb use it to poit the dish then put the twin after you have located it

You Might Give A Little More Info About Your Setup?
Is The Twin LNB Legacy Or DP? What Type Receiver Are You Using? Does The 110 Show Up In The First Boxes?

I have a feeling that there is something wrong with the LNB. I dont have a single one to locate 119 first. I am going to try another Twin LNB and see what happens.
Reciever is 301

always get the 119 first, then run check switch, should grab 110

Make Sure Your Elevation And Skew Are Correct, Cover Up The 110 Side Of The Twin LNB And Dial In The 119. Once You Locate The 119, Tweak Your Settings To Get The Highest Signal. Remove The Covering From The 110 And Do A Check Switch. You Should Then Have Both The 119 And The 110.

Thanks for your help. Finally I got it. LNB was fine. I did a Check Switch with nothing connected. Calibrated the dish again to point to the right direction. Did a Check Switch again and it got both.
