here is a link that will help you convert your ird to dish
http://bellexpress.vu/convert.html
you are to erase sa 5 under chip/sector programing 3 times
hook it up the the dish piointing at dish network
and in no time you will have a dish network ird

some times you got to play with your dish in order to find the DN sats 110+119
I found the 119 in a minute but the 110 was a different story
it took me 2 days of pulling my hair but I did find it :)
if you are hooked up to bev as we speak.
you will get that wrong satellite when you find the dish network sat
once you get that, you are ready to convert you receiver
than hook it up to the dish and it will download the dish firmware
once you have that all you got to do is program you card with a DN pfg
by theway that message wrong satellite will be gone if hat's what you were worried about

allright ill try again but another thing when i saved tsop it says e452 and i think i need a match for it for dish is this the right # because i cant seem to find in dumps or other forums and thanks for help already
P797 is the Dish tsop image you need for that receiver. (you still have to match the build too) As far as finding the birds, get a sat beeper. $25 from solidsignal.com It will save you a lot of time and hassle and your dish will be perfectly aimed every time.

my tsop says 2700 csda and the one i found says 2700 p797 caod is this right one
If your build is csda, then you want a P797 image that is also csda. If you can't match it that close you could try any csxx image, but match it as close as you can. There are pleanty of images in the bank and I'm sure you can match the build exactly....esp. with that build.

All my 2700 that are set for auto update have gone to 798P from 797P, not sure if it makes any difference in your case.

you lost me here lol
I have converted 2 bev 2700 to DN
all I did was (erase sa 5) 3 times
hook the ird to the dish, pointing @ DN
and it downloaded the dish firmware
did not have to change anything
it worked right away

Dish firmware runs either 2800 or 2700/2800/3700 it will say. If you find a dish image csd_ at 2800 that would be fine to use on yours. 797 or 798 are working fine. Make sure to take the tsop bin image into flashedit 2 and edit your ird and boxkeys before writing the tsop on the receiver.

If you go to google and in the search window type in csda tsop You will find what you are looking for, it wil be the first one listed. If you then click on that, you will find the tsop you are looking is #8 from the top.
