Hi Gang,
First I want to say that I find this forum to have some of the most helpful people and information. It is really nice to see. I need [Bev 6000 E462 CNAA or CNAD] software. I have been searching everywhere for 3 days now with no luck. I am coverting my Dish 6000 to Bev. The reason I cannot use an older version firmware is because I live in South Florida where we no longer get the transponder that is responsible for updating in the stream. (I think it is transponder 11). If someone has a copy of this software and can post it......I would be so grateful!
Thank you.

If you can get the 82 sat, use it to do the conversion, then switch to 91 and watch tv. I think stream updating is easier and more reliable that loading the tsop, although it would work. It would be a good idea to put up a dish 500 to see 82 and 91 so that you could get future updates. I also believe the 82 sat helps with the guide. Good luck.

Thanks much for the info Dave. I do have both 91 and 82 hooked up to my 6000 now and am getting a fairly strong signal on both. Are you saying that if I erase sector30 and hook it back up to my sat connection...it will update off the 82 bird? If that is true it would be great!
I just want to be sure before I go ahead with your suggestion.
Thanks!

Yes it should. If you can, I would have only 82 hooked up when doing the conversion. I use 2 dishes with a SW21 switch, so I just bypassed the switch and used 82 only. Once it is converted, then do checkswitch and have both sats again. My 6000 was converted before the Nimiq 1 and 3 fiasco, but I experimented with a 2700 and it converted on 82 only. My 6000 is on 462 and updates automatically here in AZ. I am missing the same TPs as you. I checked my software and I have E462 CNDA, close but not quite. Let me know if it works.

Well Dave....I am amazed. It actually updated to E462 without even doing a sector erase!
All I did was make sure I had it on "without my permission" shut the unit down for about 10 minutes (just for the heck of it).....and when I turned it back on I was at E462 CNAD.
I do have all the channels in the guide but am getting a black screen on all channels. I know this is most likely card related and not receiver. I've checked my PKO's and my Box Keys and everything looks ok.... I'm sure I will figure the card thing out.
I can't thank you enough for your help. I am so glad I did not have to start up with erasing eeproms and flashing tsop's again.

Great! That was even easier than I expected. As for the card, I have used a MC, but now use a rom11. It did not go down during the Sep 29-30 hit on dish and I have not had to do anything since I put the card in. Hope you get yours fixed soon. There is still lots of good HD for now.

Just wanted to let you know that I fixed the card problem and now have everything working as it should. It sure is nice to have my HDTV back! I'll tell you...I worked on this conversion from Dish to Bev on my 6000 for quite some time and it is such a good feeling to finally have success and to have learned so much in the process.
Thank you again for your time and help.
