ROM2 Ptroblem

I have this ROM2 card S 00 0046 201X XX. When I try to read it with Nagra 2.0 I get the following--
Opening of COM1 was successful
Logging into card
ATR String: D1 DA 6D FF EB 4D FF FF CD 09 19 19 69 89 19 FB
69 89 D1 09 FB 39 79 B1 D9 4F AF
Card ATR is invalid
Error reading image from card

I have tried Bugbusters several times.
I have tried opening a new image and writing it to the card. I then get--
Opening of COM1 was successful
Logging into card
ATR String: FA 70 16 FF DF 9B FF FF CD 09 19 19 69 89 19 FB
69 89 D1 09 FB 39 79 B1 D9 4F AF
Card ATR is invalid
Image and Card have different ROM Versions
Error writing to card
Xcel gives me--
No Card / Unknown ATR.....

I have also tried cleaning the card 'pads', and several versions of Nagra
Any hope??

I don't think cleaning the pads would help. If you are getting an ATR that is good. I am not sure why you can't get anything with xcel are you using 3.6. Did you calibrate xcel? try doing analyze ATR in xcel?

Read #6 when you open xcel and see if that will help.

run bugsbegone in nagraedit 4.1 let run the 8000 one and your problem will be fixed

i think i just figured it out. Are you hitting write to card instead of read from card. I just did this by accident in Nagra 4.1 and it gave me the exact error you mentioned.

Even if you were hitting the wrong key in NE it still would not give you the " Invalid ATR " response......................Run bugcatchers until it opens up with a valid ATR.
