software update for 6000?

i have a 6000 hd receiver software version 784pcndd-n is that the updated software for this receiver? and if not what do i need to do to update it and how?

mine works fine. just no HD channels!!!!!

i know hd is on n2, im just not getting picture in guid and im not sure the software is upto date if it isnt i would like to update it

i believe the 6000 does not incorperate picture in guide feature, mine does not, running bev magic card camless rom 10

no It does not have PIP in guide. you can however use the browse feature on the remote to see whats on just no info to read title and time only

thanks guys for all your help, i was also lookin to see if a software update would increase the channel capability, altho i have more than i know what to do with lol just part of the challenge and hobbie

784 is current so your good. so depending on what sats you are using and what tiers you have programmed you should get all channels, except the hd ones will be blacked out.
