Can't Read Rom2

I have been away from this hobby for a while after getting stuck here. I tried again today, and got the same problem.

Following a tutorial for programming Rom2s, I stuck the card in the programmer, hooked it to the pc, powered it on, and started NE2.0. Then I clicked card->read from card, and this was the error message that came up:

Opening of COM3 was successful
Logging into card
ATR String: D4 F4 E4 FF F6 3B FF FF CD 09 19 19 69 89 19 FB
69 89 D1 09 FB 39 79 B1 D9 4F AF
Card ATR is invalid
Error reading image from card

This card cost a lot... what should I do to fix this?

Try using Xcel, I hear Nagraedit doesn't fully support Rom2

...or nagra 1.0. Xcel is by far the best for 2's, though

Nagra just allows read and writes, No dataediting is supported. Use Xcel 3.6 and calibrate Xcel first, The you should get right in and have no problems. Always select the get backdoor keys from card option. This is probably why Nagraedit gave you a problem.
