I have done atleast 15 sucessfull vidmods to these boards...however I did 3 of these saturday and for some reason they will not power up now.I can read everything in jkeys and can see that the vidmod did take cause 7FFFFFAC is at 0000...Now I did not update these boxes so they are at P200.Now I went in and erased SA49 to force an update...I have no green light but a black screen just like I am suppossed to while it is updating however when it gets done all I get is a snowy picture...and I only get power for just a couple of seconds when you slide a card in to the receiver and then a snowy picture again...what is going on has anyone ever ran accross this and how did you fix it It is just weird that all three boxes are doin the same thing...now this box is a 301.013 18db-dasa-10e-p200..and I looked for a dump in the downloads but can only find one in rar format there is not one in zip format any help is appriciated...I know there is a resurection guide out there somewhere I guess I am just looking too hard anyways I will quit rambling so someone could shed some light on this for me and again thanks for the help

When u put a card in the 301 13 it turns on for 2 seconds than it turns off for like 5 than it should come back on some take a little while thats why i like 301.10s.
Do u have a switch for grounding r79??
Ur software might be corrupt
There are no files for DASA in the download section??

This is for DANA i think it should still work

okay I know that they will turn on for a couple of seconds turn back off then they are supposed to turn back on but these are not turning back on and also I erased full flash but now I go back to program the flash and it goes all the way to the end of things then it tells me I have an error and could not load I will try this flash and see what happens

switch at r79????I have never had a switch there I don't guess. What does that do...also when I try to reflash I get an error that says

Error programming flash at offset 0x7fffff40!

Also I never leave the switch there for the vidmod I take everything out and jumper sb35 back to the spot...Do I have to have power going to sb35 for it to flash or only to change 7FFFFFAC to 0000

I believe you have to apply power everytime you jtag

I'll try it but I know I can erase sa49 to force an update without power going to it

Yes the Ird does need to be pluged in to jtag unless u have a buffered jtag.

Do u have the vid mod on when writing to the tsop

and grounding r79 keeps the Ird from booting up so to speak so it makes it easier to jatg only some need it

And the error when do u get it at the end of the write to the tsop like at 99%?

If the only file you can find is a rar file then go download winrar. You may have to use a search engine to find winrar.

Okay I do have power to the ird but do not have power going to the tsop in other words I do not have the vidmod turned on and yes it goes all the way to 99% then gives the error.....and for some reason winrar screws with my computer everytime I download it it moves all my readme files to another folder then half my programs don't want to work

U NEED TO HAVE THE VID MOD ON TO DO A WRITE TO THE TSOP. I DONT THINK MOVING README FILES HURTS ANY THING THEY R DOCUMENTS
