subbed vu to dish?

can a card that was subbed from xpress vu be used to run dish?

Yup...card has to be stream unlocked, write a dish bin and tiers to it. This is assuming it isn't a Nagra2 card.

no, it's not a nagra 2, it's a white 288-05 rom 3, so all's good there.
stream unlock is done in nagra i assume?and where can i get a dish bin?(i will be attempting my first ird and card test this weekend and i just want all my ducks in a row!)thanks .

Try and read the card using Nagra and post what rev it is. If its 383 its streamlocked and it will have to be unlocked using a modded HU loader or be sent to a dealer that has one. I then encourage you to buy a subscription to Milis blockers he also sends out a good file to put on the card which will give you all your channels. If you use a free file blocker you most likely will be sorry and lose your card after they loop it theirs no body that can fix it.

Sorry I just saw where you are going to fix the system to dish not bev. See if you can read the card then save that file. If you can read it you can program it. I would then get a sub to milis private blocker and he will send you a fix that you can program to that card then apply your blocker. You will need a good cam, the box keys to the receiver, the dish keys that are posted when you first enter his site. If you haven;t ever done this go to his how to's they are awesome and read under rom programming. Back in june of this year people that were running free bee software blockers got their cards looped and they still can't be unlooped I heard like 4 million people I would get his blocker if I were you.
