Endless updating( hung up)

I see everybody seems to be having the same problem. With my 2700 receiver I tried a couple daya ago to switch from dish to bev what a mistake.
I erased Sae5 about a thousand times and it seemed to erase let it update in bell stream about 2 hours light would blink and then not blink so i know it was updating still only black screen. Not even an error message nothing.
So the next thing i did was erasred full flash left to update in stream.Lights blinked for a few hours still black screen.Next erased full flashed reprogramed flash with a new build config with same results this time i left it overnight Just black screen no error messages nothing.It seems like something is not erasing fully .It's just hung up.Don't know what else to try.If anybody has a suggestion i could sure use one.Thanks

Virginize your eeprom!.

How do i do that

load your bin file in flashEdit and when you save it choose Virgin EEprom. Use this new file in Jkeys to reload EEprom.

yes, viginize the eeprom, I was trying to convert my 010 just the other night after successfully installing a lock and vidmodding my .013, tried several times, actually did get the bev guide but only one channel, channel 0 and it would vary every time I did it as to what channel was in the zero slot. Was going nuts when it hit me, I forgot to viginize the eeprom, did that, and I was in the first time.
